Bye godaddy, you really suck

Well, they were ok for the shared hosting. I switched to their virtual dedicated server and along with a ordering mistake on their end the server that I eventually got was horribly over used and slow. So slow that the shared hosting was better.

I’ve had success with 1and1 in the past so I ordered their dedicated server. The setup was quick and the server performs well. It’s currently running gpokr.

- GPokr My first GWT application. It's a multiplayer Texas Holdem Poker community with monthly competitions and tournaments.
- GWT Applications Book I wrote a book on using GWT to build rich apps on web technology. The book gives you an broad look over the technology in it's first half and dives deep into 5 complete apps in the second half.
- KDice My second GWT application. I built this right before writing the GWT book. It's a strategy game like risk sitting on the GPokr framework. So it has lots of poker elements like it's monthly competition and tournaments.
- XSketch The third game I wrote on the GPokr framework. It's online pictionary. The word list is managed by a few advisors on the site and recently passed 7,000 words.
